Jimmie started at Hutton straight out of high school. He turned his first full-time job – his first experience with construction – into a career. He loves the variety in construction service work and takes pride watching things come together, and stay together, helping the owner maintain their building for years to come.

Allyson’s love for puzzles is what initially brought her to interior architecture. One of her favorite aspects of design is space planning, which is like Tetris for each unique space. At Hutton, Allyson brings this unique approach to the team. With an established portfolio of national clients, her interior architecture experience is incomparable on the team.

Andy is no stranger to designing or building. He earned a civil engineering degree from K-State and worked several years in Wichita as a design engineer, leading the construction of ethanol plants across the U.S. After working as a project manager and later as a team leader at Hutton, he was promoted to the role of president in 2016.

Before she grew up on a Kentucky tobacco farm, Tina’s family came to the U.S. as refugees. This unique life experience gave her the work ethic she has today as the People Operations Generalist at Hutton. With more than 15 years of experience before coming to Hutton, her HR history makes her a valuable addition to the onboarding team at Hutton.

Ben Hutton was swinging a hammer as soon as he could lift it. By age 12, he was working job sites. He studied construction management at Kansas State University and started at Hutton as a project manager. Soon after, he was leading the company’s business development efforts. In 2010, he became president. In 2016, CEO. Since then, the company’s capabilities have expanded and the number of employees more than tripled.

Josh's path to Hutton started in high school, in drafting class, where he designed his first house. That sparked an interest that led to a degree in architecture from K-State, then to working for some of the top firms in Wichita, becoming a licensed architect in Kansas, and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He now oversees the company's architecture and BIM teams.

When Duong isn’t attending all four of his kids’ school and club sports events, he’s managing various design projects at Hutton. With more than 20 years of experience, Duong is team-focused and deadline-oriented, and his consistent effort to keep his projects under budget results in a high return for happy clients.

Make it better and make it beautiful. You can never talk Emily out of putting in every last ounce of effort to make a building work well and look great. A desire to shape the built environment led her to an architecture degree from Oklahoma State. Now, Emily leads clients through the process of turning their dreams into real spaces that function and inspire.

Arnold learned carpentry at the knee of his father, who was in the trade. He cites a high school shop teacher as a source of inspiration, too. He earned his degree from Wichita State University. At Hutton, he continues the tradition, getting the most joy out of his job when he is working side by side with team members, teaching and learning at the same time.

Andy is a nuts and bolts kind of guy. He grew up learning to love woodworking and remodeling projects with his father. He later pursued this interest in bringing beauty and order to raw materials by studying construction science at K-State. Andy knows how to collect the right little pieces and make something bigger and better.

Brandon enjoys building. Whether it is building a project or building a friendship with a client, it's the process of building that he enjoys most. He spent the last 15 years as a project manager with the past eight exclusively on education projects. He believes schools can transform a community and provide opportunities for students and staff to excel. Brandon brings solutions to school districts and builds lasting relationships.

Justin started helping his dad build houses before he was even a teen. This early experience led him to a diverse twenty-year design and project management background. With experience that includes airport hangars, offices, fire stations, manufacturing, dormitories and classrooms, police stations, community centers, libraries, and residential apartments, Justin serves clients out of our Salina office.

Brandon’s expertise sits at the intersection of business strategy, human experience, and creative thinking. Having worked across multiple industries, lived in multiple countries, learned multiple languages, and earned multiple degrees, he uses his diverse background to help clients reframe their thinking and understand stakeholders more deeply. He holds an MBA from Indiana University, an MDiv from Fuller Seminary, and a BA from the University of Texas. Brandon is married to Kelly and they have two daughters.

From sketching to Lego sets, Jon developed a passion for designing structures and creative problem-solving at a young age. Later a drafting unit in middle school officially introduced Jon to architecture. Wanting to learn more, Jon received a degree in interior architecture from K-State. Today, you can find Jon doing two things he loves: dreaming up solutions for spaces and drinking coffee.

Aaron’s dad was a home builder, so Aaron was always on a construction site growing up. (Safely, of course.) With that foundation and a desire to use his creative talents, he received an architecture degree from the University of Kansas. Aaron practiced in Colorado before returning to Kansas, and feels privileged to design and create beautiful places in his home state.

The son of a bricklayer, Dusty has been in construction all his life. With more than 20 years as a licensed electrician, his expertise with solar energy began in 2008. Dusty brings his solar experience to Hutton, leading solar for our alternative energy team.

Jeff had his first internship with Hutton and started at Hutton after graduating college. Working as a project manager and team leader on some of Hutton's largest commercial construction projects, Jeff now leads the Hutton Facility Services and Hutton Energy Services teams. Jeff provides vision and directs operations for Hutton Facility Services. Under Jeff's leadership, HFS has grown in size and geographical reach, and added preventative and proactive maintenance to HFS's on-call and warranty services.

It started with Lincoln Logs, Legos and an imagination. Matt built whatever he could dream up. In high school, he started to dream more elaborately, drawing and designing buildings that were not toys but towers. He followed his vision to K-State, earning a degree in architecture, and then to Hutton, where every day his job is about designing and dreaming and turning ideas into reality.

Framing houses at the age of 15, Jason quickly saw the value of a hard day’s work and the rush that comes along with seeing tangible results of his labor each day. When he found out he could make a career of it, he was sold. Striving to make projects worry-free for clients, Jason’s favorite part of the process is seeing the look on a client’s face the first time they see their building.

His mom still tells the story of how he put his own tricycle together, and he continued building things for family and friends until he was old enough to get a job working for a local construction company. He enjoys construction because he gets to create solutions to challenges by implementing a plan and watching it succeed.

Jennifer’s favorite shape is a Venn diagram, and her celebrity crushes are behavioral economists. Combining a bachelor’s in Psychology with an MBA in Change Management and more than 20 years in business, Jennifer leads Hutton’s ultra-talented IT, Marketing and People Operations teams, who in turn support Hutton’s client-centered service offerings.
