OSBORNE COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED

Osborne County Memorial Hospital was recently recognized across the country as one of the Top 20 critical access hospitals in the categories of “Overall Performance” and “Best Practice of Quality.”

The scoring of critical access hospitals is determined by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. The rankings were recently announced by the National Rural Health Association, and the awards were to be presented live at a ceremony that was cancelled due to COVID-19.

In determining the Top 20, hospitals are judged based on eight categories. These categories include inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, cost, charge, and financial efficiency.
